• Chat Inputs and Document Uploads: Chat inputs, queries, and documents submitted to Kim or Kimigrate. Because immigration data is highly sensitive, this may include specific identifiers such as passport numbers, Alien Registration Numbers (A-Numbers), Social Security Numbers (SSNs), employment history, and personal immigration records.
• Usage and Technical Data: IP address, device type, operating system, browser identifiers, and platform analytics.

How We Use Your Data

We use this information to provide, improve, secure, and maintain Kim and Kimigrate, process your payments, and comply with legal obligations.

• AI Training Policy: We do not use your inputs, chat history, or uploaded immigration documents to train our AI models or any third-party models without your explicit consent.
• Data Retention & Deletion: Data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the service or as required by law. When you choose to delete a chat or account, it is removed from active user views immediately. However, to ensure operational integrity and disaster recovery, this data may persist in secure, encrypted backups for a limited period (not to exceed 30 days) before being permanently overwritten.

Data Sharing and Security

We do not sell your personal data. We partner with trusted third-party subprocessors (including cloud hosting providers and AI infrastructure vendors) to process data on our behalf. All such third-party providers operate under strict confidentiality agreements and data processing terms.

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, administrative access controls, and regular security audits. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users and regulatory authorities as required by applicable laws (including the CCPA and GDPR, where relevant).
